Allinllanchu! I’m Sisa Quispe.
I’m a multilingual Indigenous Quechua-Aymara Artist, my life has taken me from a small city in Peru to one of the biggest and diverse cities in the world.
Living in Peru I followed the path I was supposed to, I became an accountant. Moving to New York City opened the door for opportunities and gave me the chance to discover my bigger purpose.
I’m currently pursuing a MFA in Filmmaking at the City College of New York, in order to develop myself as a storyteller.
As an artist and immigrant in the US, I look forward to breaking stereotypes and educate society in regards of Native Americans through storytelling. I aim for an inclusive and respectful world that celebrates diversity. We are still here.
